University at Buffalo Delegation Meets ARII Leadership

ADDRESSING THE MEETING: Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah (Head of the Delegation /Clinical Assistant Professor, Organization and Human Resources, School of Management, University at Buffalo)
A delegation from the University of Buffalo, New York led by Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah, (Clinical Assistant Professor Organization and Human Resources, School of Management University at Buffalo) met with the international leadership of African Rights Initiative International. The team included; Cynthia M. Shore, (Senior Asst. Dean, Alumni & External Relations, School of Management, University at Buffalo) and Tara Gyambrah, (Senior Assistant Director Honors College, University at Buffalo, New York)
Among other things the goal of the meeting was to explore possible experiential learning opportunities with a strong emphasis on social innovation for students and faculty from the University at Buffalo.
Through this collaboration, the University at Buffalo, ARII and others supporting partners hope to establish a center modelled after the Center for Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness currently in place in the University at Buffalo School of Management providing dynamic leadership training for Leaders in Ghana and Africa.
The meeting also saw the Delegation touring some projects sites of ARII within the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
The team was received on behalf of ARII by the Most Rev. Dr. Robert Kwasi Aboagye-Mensah, (Chairman of ARII International Advisory Council/Former Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana). Dr. Nana James Ashun, (Director for Africa Region, Agape Samaritan International, USA)

Dean, Alumni & External Relations, School of Management, University at Buffalo) with Dr. Chris Owoo ( a Consultant Anaesthetist at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH)/the Consultant in charge of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neurosurgical Anaesthesia and Obstetric Anaesthesia and Vice President of the ARII Doctors in the Gap)
